New wet electro-filter significantly reduces emissions in large-scale industry - great demand from all continents for the product from Eberschwang:
ceATec makes an important contribution to worldwide environmental protection with product innovation
The company ceATec from Eberschwang is among the leading suppliers in the area of environmental technology. Now the company has developed a new wet electro-filter (NEF) that significantly reduces emissions for large-scale industrial plants and guarantees compliance with the limit values. The demand for the product innovation developed in recent years to market maturity is exceeding all expectations. “Within a very short period, the new wet electro-filter was supplied to 4 customers from large-scale industry on 4 continents. New inquiries are regularly being received at the head office in Eberschwang,” emphasizes the General Manager Peter Pichler. The great demand has also necessitated the expansion of the head office, which will be opened shortly.
Innovation from the Innviertel is conquering the world market
The wet electro-filter by ceATec developed to market maturity in recent years serves the purpose of emission purification. This involves the absorption of particulate and gaseous organic compounds in emissions generated by large-scale industry. Larger particles and water-soluble substances are filtered in a water cycle system, sedimented and eliminated through a drainage unit. Fine particles and aerosols are eliminated through a high-voltage field that is cleaned cyclically through rinsing with process water.
This pioneering technology is used mainly in the wood panel industry, metal industry, food industry and waste incineration. The wet electro-filter by ceATec is technically and economically optimally suited to complying with the legal regulations regarding emission limit values for larger industrial plants.
ceATec plans and produces filter systems - company expansion
ceATec plans and produces filter systems for the purification of industrial emissions for customers from the wood composite, iron and steel industry, as well as the stone, earth and cement industry, and now supplies to 5 continents from the Innviertel. Due to its record-breaking order situation, a further expansion of its company site has now become an urgent necessity. A neighboring site has been purchased for this purpose, whereby a new office building and an assembly hall have been built next to the existing company building. In total, 2 million euros are being invested into the almost complete new build, according to Peter Pichler.
Record turnover of 30 million Euros expected – the signs point to expansion
ceATec is growing massively and especially also due to this latest product innovation is expecting a new record turnover of 30 million euros this year (compared to 20 million euros in 2017). The company’s global presence is being strengthened further: The experts from the Innviertel region are planning to make the leap across the pond to the US in the coming months to found a branch in Atlanta, Georgia.
Important measures for environmental protection by ceATec
The Innviertel-based environmental technology specialist is renowned in the region for being an attractive and reliable employer, currently employing over 40 highly qualified employees. In the forthcoming years, a significant employee increase is expected due to the optimal order situation. Founded in 2002, the company has developed into a reliable partner for plant manufacturers and operators in the field of environmental technology. With its plants, which mainly result from in-house developments in recent years, the company makes an important contribution to environmental protection for industrial companies.
