New ceATec company building in Eberschwang completed
Record order situation for environmental technology specialist from Eberschwang due to new major orders in the USA:
ceATec from Eberschwang/Upper Austria is among the leading suppliers in the field of environmental technology. The Innviertel-based company plans and produces filter systems for the purification of industrial emissions for customers from the wood composite, iron and steel industry and delivers its products to 5 continents. Due to its record-breaking order situation, an expansion of the company site became an urgent necessity. The new build for the automation division has now been completed after an 8-month construction period. “In total, 2 million euros have been invested in the new building. We have constructed a new modern office building next to the existing company building and adapted an existing warehouse,” states General Manager Peter Pichler.
Expansion of company head office in Eberschwang
ceATec is successful on the world market with its product innovations. The optimal order situation and the constantly high capacity utilization, especially in the field of automation and electrical engineering, have necessitated an expansion of the company site in Eberschwang. ceATec has realized the new build and conversion in record time, creating a new office building and a new 600m² assembly hall at the new site. “ceATec Automation” has moved into the new company building in the immediate neighborhood of the existing company building. The relocation to the new site has already been carried out.
Two new major orders from the USA
The order books of ceATec are brimming: Two major projects are currently being realized in the USA. At Clarion in the US federal state of Pennsylvania, a dryer is being installed for MDF production. Whole furniture series are manufactured out of the Medium Density Fiberboard. “The order volume for this order alone is around 12 million euros. The startup of operations is planned for the end of the first half of 2019,” Peter Pichler affirms.
In Eastaboga/Alabama, one of the ceATec customers is constructing a major chipboard factory. CeATec is supplying a wet electro-filter, the suction and conveyor system, as well as the automation. The turnover for the Innviertel-based company for this is around 9 million euros.
A record turnover of 34 million euros is expected in the year 2018
ceATec is growing massively and expects a new record turnover of 34 million euros in 2018 (compared to 20 million euros in 2017). The global presence of the company is being consolidated further.

The environmental technology specialist is regarded in the region as an attractive and reliable employer, with the company currently employing 45 highly qualified employees. Over the forthcoming years, a significant employee increase is expected. Founded in 2002, the company has developed into a reliable partner for plant manufacturers and operators in the field of environmental technology. With its plants, which mainly result from in-house developments in recent years, the company makes an important contribution to environmental protection for industrial companies. The extraction and dedusting of industrial exhaust air in dry or wet processes are among the company's core competencies.
