Rotary valves are used to separate plant areas of different pressures from each other or from the atmosphere. They are required wherever material has to be transferred from one part of the system (e.g. bag/cartridge filter) to another part of the system (e.g. pneumatic conveyor system) or to the outside.
For explosion decoupling purposes, ceATec rotary valves can also be supplied as type-tested protection systems (spark and flame puncture proof).
